The process, from order to receipt of your background check results

The Bureau of Background Checks does not deal with individuals. Background checks can only be ordered and triggered by corporations with Pre-employment Risk Management (PRM) needs. This site is directed towards CEO’s and HR Managers of corporations, both big and small. If you are not a CEO or HR Manager, this site is for information purposes only to you. For your ease of use, as a CEO or HR Manager, the pre-employment background check process has been simplified to give you a better understanding of the entire procedure. It will take up to 7 business days for your company to receive the results of your professional background check. It takes this long because the Bureau Associates go directly to the source of the data and physically check the records. Also, Uganda does not have national databases that can be researched for some of the results, that’s why "Collaborative Agreements" with all organizations from which your requested background check results are got, are important.

To ensure additional accuracy of your results, the Data Control, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Quality Assurance processes that we employ are very methodical and comprehensive. You are encouraged to cross-check the results that you get, from time to time, and notice how you continually receive fresh results. You will obtain life changing information for which fact and reliability is paramount. Remember, for each pre-employment background check package that you order, a minimum of 19 separate tests are done. For some packages, this figure will raise up to 27 background check points. c) Placing an order for a service package.
If you want to skip your "Free 30-Day Service Trial" period or your "Free Corporate Presentation" and go directly to purchasing your choice package, we will work with you. Simply select your package, follow the guidelines as shown on the ordering page, fill out all information areas, and we will pick it up with your HR department. The Process. {Top}

From order to receipt of your background check results.

Step 1 of 5
When you order a background check package after the expiry of your "free 30-day service trial" as explained above, we will hold a meeting with your HR department to get baseline applicant background information that is used in developing your report. At this meeting you will receive an applicant release form which the applicant will need to sign and by so doing "release" all parties to carry out a thorough and detailed background check on them. This release is a legally binding document that is critical and indispensable for all 3 parties. You will then give us a copy of the applicants’ application in detail, a copy of the signed release, and finally you will provide us with your company’s original approved purchase order for the background check package of your choice.

Step 2 of 5
We will then meet with the applicant. At this meeting, we typically offer the applicant a chance to clarify any issues on their applications. Some jobseekers will usually attempt to bribe the Bureau Associates at this point, in which case the entire background check process comes to a stop and the case is closed. If no attempts at bribery are made, we then run polygraph and other background check tests that are unique to applicants, yet part of the entire grand background check package, compiling data along the way.

Step 3 of 5
The Bureau Associates will then go to the various organizations from which the results of your background check are mined, while cross referencing with the baseline data. The collaborative agreements that we signed with these organizations come into play here as the Bureau Associates are granted easy access to the core of the information for your direct benefit. The release form signed by the applicant also helps to reduce further resistance that some offices tend to present.

Step 4 of 5
All the findings are entered into our QA/QC system. The internal details of these transactions are blurred for obvious reasons. Monitoring & Evaluation is also carried out to ensure compliance with set QC standards, and to avoid scope creep. Project inventory control is upheld by a separate system that ensures schedule maintenance and on-time delivery of finished reports. All these systems work in sync to guarantee that you receive timely and accurate results.

Step 5 of 5
We will then compile the results of our findings in a simple, easy to read and use report. Again the details of this report by way of shape or form are blurred for obvious reasons. At this point, the system will automatically generate an email to you with specific details and instructions. We will then deliver the report and findings of your professional pre-employment background check order.
